The Flying Frog was born in a hard season and built on hope.
After developing multiple invisible illnesses, I reached a point where I could no longer work in the usual way. On the outside, I may have looked fine, but inside I was carrying struggles that most people could not see. That experience opened my eyes to how lonely unseen challenges can be, and how much kindness, compassion, and encouragement really matter.
During that season, my faith in God was my lifeline. Prayer carried me through some very dark days, and little by little, He began opening a new path in front of me. What started as a need to survive financially grew into something much deeper: a calling to build a business that could encourage others, reflect God’s love, and remind people they are not alone.
Why “The Flying Frog”?
The name The Flying Frog carries special meaning for me.
It is rooted in Isaiah 40:31, which speaks of renewed strength and rising up on wings like eagles. It also connects to the acronym F.R.O.G., meaning Fully Rely On God. And tucked into it is a reminder that stayed with me in a fearful season: sometimes what feels like falling is actually the moment God is teaching you to fly.
Starting this business felt like a leap of faith. I did not have every answer, and I definitely did not feel fearless. But step by step, God kept meeting me there. The Flying Frog is a reflection of that journey: trusting Him, taking the next step, and finding hope in the middle of uncertainty.

Living with invisible illness has taught me that many people are carrying battles no one else can see. Pain, fatigue, fear, grief, stress, and discouragement often stay hidden behind a smile. Because of that, even the simplest act of kindness can mean more than we realize.
That is the heart behind The Flying Frog.
I want this to be a place that reflects compassion, faith, honesty, and hope. A place where people feel welcomed. A place where encouragement is woven into what we create. A place where even a simple shirt, mug, or gift can brighten a hard day and remind someone they are not forgotten.
