Welcome to The Flying Frog
The Flying Frog was born in a hard season and built on hope.
It began during a time when my life no longer looked the way I thought it would. After developing multiple invisible illnesses, I reached a point where I could no longer work in the usual way. That was not just a practical loss. It was emotional, spiritual, financial, and deeply personal.
On the outside, I could still look “fine.” But inside, I was carrying pain, fatigue, fear, grief, and uncertainty that most people could not see. I learned how lonely it can feel when your body is struggling, your heart is tired, and the world keeps expecting you to function like nothing has changed.
That season opened my eyes in a way nothing else could. It showed me how many people are quietly carrying battles behind smiles, routines, responsibilities, and polite answers. It also showed me how powerful kindness can be when someone feels unseen.
During those dark days, my faith in God became my lifeline. Prayer carried me when I did not have much strength left. Little by little, God began opening a new path in front of me. What started as a need to survive financially grew into something much deeper: a calling to build a business that could encourage others, reflect God’s love, and help people feel seen, heard, and less alone.
Why “The Flying Frog”?
The name The Flying Frog carries special meaning for me.
It is rooted in Isaiah 40:31, which speaks of renewed strength and rising up on wings like eagles. It also connects to the acronym F.R.O.G., meaning Fully Rely On God.
And tucked into it is a reminder that stayed with me in a fearful season: sometimes what feels like falling is actually the moment God is teaching you to fly.
Starting this business felt like a leap of faith. I did not have every answer, and I definitely did not feel fearless. But step by step, God kept meeting me there. The Flying Frog is a reflection of that journey: trusting Him, taking the next step, and finding hope in the middle of uncertainty.

The Heart Behind It
Living with invisible illness has taught me that many people are carrying battles no one else can see.
Pain can be invisible. Fatigue can be invisible. Depression, anxiety, grief, fear, brain fog, loneliness, and discouragement can all hide behind “I’m fine.”
And when people do not see the battle, they may not understand the exhaustion, the limitations, the canceled plans, the changed dreams, or the courage it takes just to keep going.
That is the heart behind The Flying Frog: helping people feel seen, heard, and less alone by shining light on the battles people don’t always see.
I want this to be a place that reflects compassion, faith, honesty, and hope. A place where people feel welcomed, not judged. A place where encouragement is woven into what we create. A place where even a simple shirt, mug, post, prayer, or story can brighten a hard day and remind someone they are not forgotten.
More Than a Shop
The Flying Frog is about more than products. It is about building a gentle ripple of encouragement, faith, and compassion in a world that often feels rushed, heavy, and quick to overlook quiet pain.
That is why The Pond exists too. It is our community hub for prayer, encouragement, praise, stories, and gentle support. Some people come to shop. Some come because they need prayer. Some come because they love someone who is struggling and want to understand better. Some simply need a place that reminds them they are not the only one carrying something hard.
