In The Beginning
The Flying Frog, LLC was born out of struggle and pain. During one of the most difficult seasons of my life, I felt invisible—like no one really saw me or understood what I was going through. I was facing multiple “invisible” illnesses, and eventually I could no longer work because of them.
In that darkness, I leaned hard on my faith in God. Prayer became my lifeline, and little by little, He gave me strength to see a new path forward. What began as survival soon grew into a calling. I needed to find a way to support myself financially, yes—but I also knew God was asking me to do something more. Something that mattered well beyond myself.
The Origin of the Name
The name The Flying Frog carries a lot of meaning. It’s inspired by three things:
- Isaiah 40:31: “Those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength and mount up with wings like eagles.”
- F.R.O.G.: An acronym that reminds me to Fully Rely On God.
- A simple but powerful phrase was brought to mind. “But what if I fall?” I asked in fear. His reply: “Ah, but what if you fly?”
Eagle’s wings. FROG. The courage to leap in faith. Together, they became The Flying Frog.
Starting this company felt like stepping off a cliff with no guarantee of safety—but God met me there. Step by step, I realized He wasn’t letting me fall at all. Instead, I was flying.
The Bigger Picture
For me, this is about far more than income. The Flying Frog is rooted in a passion to revive something our world desperately needs: kindness, compassion, and faith.
Living with invisible illnesses has taught me firsthand how isolating it can feel when others don’t understand what you’re going through. You may look “fine” on the outside, but inside you’re carrying pain, fatigue, or battles no one else can see. Too often, people with unseen challenges feel overlooked or dismissed.
That’s why The Flying Frog exists. Every product we offer is designed to be a gentle reminder that you are not alone—and that kindness and compassion are never wasted. Our designs spread messages of encouragement, faith, and support, helping create conversations about invisible illnesses while also reminding us all to look out for one another.
But this isn’t just about products either—it’s about building a community. One person alone may feel too small to change the world. But when we come together, even tiny ripples of kindness can turn into a wave strong enough to carry us all.
